In July and August of 2011, 2,213 high school juniors participated in an online survey conducted by Harris Interactive for Junior Achievement and the National Chamber Foundation.

The study highlights the students knowledge and interest in entrepreneurship, free enterprise and capitalism, their economic concerns and how this may be influencing their career paths. The Free Enterprise National Survey found that 64 percent of high school juniors were interested in starting or owning their own businesses, but the survey also revealed that many are concerned about the economy.
