Cedar Valley Special Events

There are three great ways to get involved with Junior Achievement’s special events. You can be a day of event volunteer, participate in the event or join a committee to help plan the event. Below are a list of the events taking place throughout the year as well as brief descriptions for each event. Also, time commitments required of special event committee members are listed below.

Time Commitment and Responsibilities of Special Events Committee Members

Committee meetings begin a few months before the respected event and the committee meets at the Junior Achievement office about once per month for an hour at each meeting. This typically works out to be 5-6 meetings total for each event. 

Committee members can do all of the following: help plan the event, design logos and t-shirts for the event, organize and gather prizes, brainstorm themes for the event, help out the day of the event, etc.
