Traditional Bowl:
Now in it’s 24th year, the Junior Achievement Bowl-4-Education event has grown to be bigger than ever! Think of Bowl-4-Education as a company party that doubles as a fundraiser for Junior Achievement!  Volunteer to be part of a 5-6 person bowling team.  Secure at least $70 per bowler and you’re ready to bowl!  Each bowler is entitled to unlimited bowling for their entire shift, shoe rental, an event t-shirt, and great prizes!  Plus, those who raise more than $100 are guaranteed to win additional prizes.

Wii Bowling Tournament:
NEW THIS YEAR!
Double elimination Wii tournament with a max of 16 teams.  Volunteer to be a part of a 5 person bowling team.  Teams will bowl relay style with each bowler on each team bowling twice per match up.  For example: Bowler 1 from Team 1 will bowl the 1st frame, then Bowler 1 from Team 2 will bowl the 1st frame - then Bowler 2 from Team 1 will bowl the 2nd frame, etc. Secure at least $50 per bowler and you’re ready to Wii bowl!  Each bowler will receive a JA Goody Bag, discounted drinks & appetizers, & an opportunity to win great prizes!  The winning team will be awarded a grand prize! Plus, as in our traditional bowl, those who raise more than $100 are guaranteed to win additional prizes.

Why Bowl for Junior Achievement?
Junior Achievement prepares and inspires young people to succeed in a global economy.  JA teaches kids how business works and prepares them to be Eastern Iowa’s future leaders!  Through the help of hundreds of community volunteers, JA will reach 34,487 local K-12 students during the 2009-2010 school year!  The Bowl-4-Education event is a fun-filled way to help raise money to support Junior Achievement’s local economic literacy programs.
