EVENT INFO:
Now in it’s 18th year, we have decided to mix things up a bit! Please read the details below and contact Lauren (larnold@jaeasterniowa.org) if you have a team, sponsorship, volunteer or committee interest.

NEW FRIDAY DATE!
Friday, June 4, 2010 (rain date:  June 11) 
Location: Volley’s (265 Blairs Ferry Road NE, Cedar Rapids)
Registration begins at 6:00 p.m. and play begins promptly at 6:30 p.m.

NEW THIS YEAR! Registration is $30 per player (instead of $250/team as in previous years). Company teams’ fee includes a 2x4’ sign with company logo during event and displayed at Volley’s for 1 week, t-shirts for each participant, and a minimum of 5 games. Check out the 2010 Volley-4-Education Flyer for all the details!

Round robin pool play and double elimination tournament play. Tournament winners will receive 1st place t-shirts...and last place teams will receive last place t-shirts!

F.A.Q.:
Q:  How many men/women can be on a co-ed team?
A:  NEW THIS YEAR: We have dropped the co-ed requirement! All men, all women or a mix, your team can play!

Q.  How will JA notify participants if the tournament is delayed or rescheduled due to rain?
A.  If the weather requires either a delay or a rescheduling of the event, a notice will be posted on this website, announced on Mix 96.5 FM, and e-mailed to captains (if possible).  A cell phone number will also be provided the week of the tournament to check on the event status (if the forecast predicts rain).

Q.  What other changes have been made to the 2010 event?
A.  There will not be 4-on-4 team play, just 6-on-6 with a minimum of 4 players and a maximum of 8 (2 subs).  We are adding an entertainment factor so be prepared to enjoy a live band all night long!
