The largest sand volleyball tournament in the Midwest!

NOW ACCEPTING TEAMS:
Junior Achievement’s 16th Annual Volley-4-Education event will take place on Saturday, June 7, 2008 (rain date:  June 14).  This year’s goal is to raise $28,435 - this will help provide JA programs to 28,562 Easter Iowan students this year!

2 Divisions of Play:
*Co-ed 4 on 4 - Registration at 10:00 a.m.
*Co-ed 6 on 6 - Registration at 9:00 a.m.

All skill levels can participate in either division.  The Pool play will determine the brackets for the Tournament play.

Team Guidelines:
Round Robin play.  Each team plays other teams in their pool to determine their seed.  All games will be played to 25 with rally scoring.  Final game is best out of 3.

Each team may register up to 2 substitute players.  In co-ed play, there can never be more men on the court than women.


Early Registration & Multi-Team Discounts:
Registration received prior to Friday, May 23rd:
   
$250 for the 1st team & $200 for each additional team

Registration received after Friday, May 23rd:   
$275 for the 1st team & $225 for each additional team

Registration fees include a 2x4’ sign with your company logo facing Blairs Ferry Road from June 1-7.  Each participant will also receive an event t-shirt, goody bag, and is guaranteed at least 5 games of volleyball.

Court Sponsorships Available:

For just $200, you can have your company’s logo on a 2x4’ sign hanging between the volleyball courts during the tournament on June 7th.  Limited to the first 16 responses.

*Hy-Vee Grilling On-site:  Hot dogs, brats, hamburgers, chicken sandwiches, baked beans, potato salad, & chips will be for sale with 15% of the sales to benefit JA!
*Serve & Spike contests!  Test your skill (or luck) by hitting one of the targets with either the Serve or Spike contest.  For $5, you’ll get 3 tries to hit a target.  If you do, you’ll draw from gift certificates ranging from $10-50!!!
*Keg Toss!  For just $1 (per try) you’ll have the chance to throw an empyt keg as far as you can.  Whomever throws it the furthest will draw from gift certificates ranging from $10-50!!!  There’s a contest for men with a large keg & a contest for women with a smaller keg.  Flex your muscle for a good cause!
*Win other great prizes throughout the day!
