Junior Achievement of Eastern Iowa Bowl-4-Education & Wii Bowl-4-Education The only themed bowl-a-thon in the area takes place every year in the fall months. This year's Collegiate Bowl-4-Education raised over $53,000 to support Junior Achievement of Eastern Iowa programs!

Why Bowl for Junior Achievement? Junior Achievement prepares and inspires young people to succeed in a global economy. Junior Achievement teaches kids how business works and prepares them to be Eastern Iowa’s future leaders! Through the help of 1,200+ community volunteers, JAEI will reach over 41,022 local K-12 students during the 2011-2012 school year! The Bowl-4-Education event is a fun-filled way to help raise money to support Junior Achievement’s local economic literacy programs.

Wii Bowl-4-Education The 2nd annual Wii Bowl-4-Education tournament will be held on Thursday, March 8th and Friday, March 9th at 3rd Street Saloon located above the Chrome Horse Slophouse and Saloon. Over 100 Wii bowlers came out to participate in the event in 2010 and raised over $6,000 to support Junior Achievement of Eastern Iowa programs.
How Does It Work? Team Captains gather 4 team members to form a team of five bowlers. Each person is required to raise a minimum of $40/bowler to participate ($30/youth bowler).

2010 Wii Bowl-4-Education Congratulations to 2010 Will Bowl-4-Education Champions Apache Hose & Belting's Professional Amateurs Team for winning the 3-6pm shift and to The ESCO Group's Team Cider for winning the 6-9pm shift.
Also, congratulations to Nancy Shaffer from APAC, the winner of the Nintendo Wii console and three games donated by Best Buy!
