Effectiveness of Junior Achievement programs
“I strongly feel that Junior Achievement has brought a greater understanding of what business is, and the importance of smart consumerism.” Jamie Sebring Teacher at Wilson School Local Program Results - 2011-2012 Junior Achievement of Eastern Iowa feels that it is important to demonstrate the impact that Junior Achievement programs have on local students. To achieve this, all classroom volunteers are asked to implement a pre-program evaluation and a post-program evaluation with the students in their class to measure the comprehension gained by their participation in a particular Junior Achievement program. The evaluations are designed by JA Worldwide specific to each program and are available for programs taught in first grade through middle school. Below are the local results as submitted for programs that took place during the 2010-2011 school year followed by a sampling of specific program evaluations.
